Jing is a great application for screen capturing. With Jing I was able to capture and record a video that allows me to show my wiki page and explain what it is and how to use it. I presented this information at a staff meeting as part of a committee report for the writing committee at my school. I am always looking for ways that I can incorporate technology into my school. If other teachers see how easy and useful some of the web 2.0 technologies are, perhaps they will become interested and want to use them in their classrooms. I'm finding that these new ways of presenting information are both challenging to master and great creative fun to use. I had a wonderful time learning and exploring during this class. I guess this old dog can learn a few new tricks.
